Skill Calculator Empty
PostSubject: Skill Calculator   Skill Calculator EmptyMon Apr 01, 2013 11:00 pm

So you belong to some class or something, and you want to know how to plan out your character. While, in the future, we hope to provide suggestions, at the current time, I provide you with this interesting device: the Wartune Skill Calculator!

http://wartune.r2games.com/skill

With it, you may put in a level for any class, and experiment with the development of skills. You might see that sometimes there is a huge benefit to leveling a skill, while a minor one to developing another skill. An example would be for Rain of Fire for Mages. Look at the power gain between a lvl 3 and lvl 4 RoF spell. The gains for leveling Rain of Fire through level 3 added a couple % points of damage, but, between lvl 3 and 4, RoF deals 104% damage at lvl 3 to 134% at lvl 4 (plus the 25% QTE damage). Thus, at level 4, Rain of Fire is immensely powerful and very inexpensive when it comes to rage.

Remember, resetting skills before lvl 25 is free, but afterwards costs either balens or vouchers. Spending a bit of time exploring development options could make your character a lot stronger and valuable in the long run without having to waste vouchers or balens.
